Svaneholm - Skäggebyn - Rudsbyn

Out into the countryside on roads that swing by homes, barns and paddocks. The route is hilly; one minute you’re in open fields, the next in the forest. You’ll pass several lakes and catch glimpses of the sparkling waters of Eldan, Myrsjön and especially beautiful Strand where Mellan-Svan spreads out before you. On the left there is a curious red building with white trims. It’s a preserved watering station for steam locomotives; a piece of history from the time when Svanskog was a railway junction.

Parking: Svanskog Folkets Hus, Svanskog Church / Parish hall, Ödebyns rural community centre, Strand bathing area alongside Strandvägen.
